Rabbit Ball Pit

My bunny book is with the printer, so it’s time to relax and have some fun! We’ve had a sack of children’s play balls sitting in the garage for ages so I thought I’d see what Scamp thought. They are the sort of balls you find in ball pits so they are quite soft plastic and very light. They wouldn’t stand up to chewing but are cheap and good for nudging about.

As you can see, the pesky balls are all in the wrong place and need rearranging and rearranging, and shouldn’t that yellow one go on the left instead.

And for those that like live action rabbits, a quick video too:

isn’t Scamp such a handsome chap! I can see those balls will be annoying him for ages, what with their rolling back on him all the time 😉

    Congrats on your book!!

  2. Oh Scamp seems to be enjoying himself there! Congrats on the book too!

  3. Scamp is doing a very good job of herding those silly balls into their proper places. Congratulations on the book!

This is such a great idea! Scamp will be busy for quite a while trying to arrange these. 🙂

I don’t know what a “ball pit” is; do we have these in the States? I’ve been looking for a cheap source of balls for rabbits to play with.

I’m not sure if you have them in the states, I would guess so but maybe called something else. They are a children’s activity, a tent, paddling pool or ‘pit’ filled with plastic balls. You see giant ones at activity centres but you can by smaller pop up ones for home. Maybe have a look in a big toy store?

Awh! Great idea! I’ll have to try this with Hopper sometime! Looks like fun. I think Scamp kinda looks like the chipmunk, from the move “Ice Age”, mixed with an ordinary rabbit. Very cute. (:
